September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
In the U.S., 15,780 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year; approximately 1/4 of them will not survive the disease. Each day, 43 families in the United States will hear “your child has cancer”.
As a mother of three, it breaks my heart knowing there are families out there fighting for their child’s lives. I couldn’t imagine watching my children go through what these kids are experiencing.
